We will be represented by one of our Committee Members at the following events
Attended by NameAMNT Comittee Member
This introductory course is suitable for new trustees and as a refresher for those with more experience. It will help you gain a clear understanding of your responsibilities as a trustee.
We are pleased to announce this year’s annual DB pensions conference, The DB Exchange. Set within the iconic Barbican Centre, the day will be centred around sharing ideas, testing perspectives and shaping decisions.
Exclusively designed for pension scheme trustees and sponsors, this event will bring together the people and perspectives shaping the future of the pension risk transfer market. Please join us on 6 October, from 2 pm to 5 pm for engaging and interactive sessions, and stay to enjoy drinks, canapés and networking until 7 pm.
This course is suitable for more experienced trustees who have either already attended the Defined Benefit – Part 1 course or have some experience as a trustee of a defined benefit scheme. It assumes an understanding of the basic concepts of trust law and trusteeship and some knowledge of asset classes and investment markets.
This course is aimed at trustees of a defined contribution scheme or a hybrid scheme with a defined contribution section. It provides a practical look at the key issues and decisions that trustees face when responsible for a defined contribution scheme and considers trustees’ responsibilities both from a legal and best practice perspective.
We would be delighted if you could join us for our flagship event, where an expert line up of speakers will explore the latest developments shaping the pensions and savings landscape. With major developments in legislation and innovation across both DB and DC, our conference aims to provide new insights, practical experience, real case studies and thought provoking discussions to help with your strategy and priorities. The agenda will cover topical and relevant issues across the changing and constantly evolving market.
Many employers operate contract-based and master trust arrangements (Group Personal Pensions for example) and are increasingly establishing pension governance committees to ensure these arrangements are well-run. This course is designed specifically to meet the needs of governance committees, identifying best practice and ensuring committee members can carry out their role efficiently. It is also suitable for HR professionals supporting contract based defined contribution schemes.
